What application do I have to use to access my Dahua NVR from a mobile phone?

To access from mobile or tablet, the app to use is DMSS. It is also possible to use other applications from the manufacturer, such as gDMSS on Android or iDMSS on iPhone, or the Imou/Imoulife applications.

And how do I access my recorder from PC?

From a Windows computer we can access it using a web browser, or the Windows program SmartPSS . To access remotely using a web browser, it will be necessary to know the IP of the device (DDNS) and have the ports open to be able to access it from the outside.

Can I add IP cameras from other brands to my Dahua NVR?

All Dahua NVRs support the ONVIF standard, so we can connect any camera compatible with this standard. To make the configuration easier, it is always advisable to use cameras and NVRs of the same brand.
