What is 8xCCA and 8xCU?

It is the material that makes up the wires of the cable. An 8xCu UTP cable has 8 pure copper strands, while an 8xCCA UTP cable has strands with a copper interior and an aluminum outer coating (copper clad aluminum).

What is 24AWG or 23AWG?

AWG is the "American wire gauge", a standard that measures the thickness of wires. The lower the number, the larger the diameter of a cable. Therefore, in a 23AWG UTP cable, the thickness of the 8 wires will be greater than in a 24AWG cable, and the cable will therefore be of higher quality.

What is a halogen-free cable?

A halogen-free cable (or LSZH "low smoke, zero halogens") is one that is manufactured without halogens, so that in the event of combustion it does not release toxic fumes that are dangerous to humans. By regulation, there are places where the cable to be used must be LSZH.
